Performative Language Design

What are the processes with which life designs language? It is sure social. It evolves. What is the design space?

We imagine designing an institution, which involves a team of humans, and some machines. We look to create languages together. We use tools that help us design languages: - Lexon and GNU Bison - Racket (programming language) - Language Oriented Programming

We write together in wiki, defining concepts, and developing social practices around these concepts. We meet regularly in live creative videoconferencing sessions, where we use: - Legislative Theatre techniques to construct Governance Hackathons - We experience writing with strangers where we explore and maintain perspectives. - We use spoken word, and the careful crafting of patterns, and koans that structure our perspectives and facilitate their evolution. - We test our language designs in short iterative cycles according to the principles of agile learning.
