A smart contract is a set of commitments that are defined in digital form, including the agreement on how contract participants shall fulfil these commitments.

# Background
The original thoughts in wiki and user interaction were developed by Clive and Ward as Imagine Wiki Contracts.
> Note: It is not clear to me what the original authors imagine by this work, so here we rewrite the page from the perspective of Liquid Law in the hope of beginning a dialogue.
# Current work Currently we work on Liquid Law, and Liquid Law Contracts for Supply Chain and Environmental Sustainability. This work aims at a pilot that we look to run with stakeholders beginning 2021.
# Agreements as process Wiki Agreements are wiki-pages that are written in wiki, and passed from person to person through Forking and Countersigning of the Contract Page.
This process begins in discussion and Wiki Deliberation, and proceeds through a set of processes that an Agreement Community enters into, to a hoped for Wiki Agreement.
# Soft Roadmap
We use the Signature Plugin to explore these social interactions. We aim to add Liquid Javascript Contracts to wiki.
In the coming months, we aim to explore the relationship between these contracts and the signature plugin, while establishing the systemic relationship between this process and other compilation targets of Liquid Law (for instance various blockchains such as Ethereum, and Eternity).
# Pilot
It is our understanding that this work cannot proceed effectively without a real-world pilot as a test case of the human-centred governance interactions that will inform the design process. We have chosen a range of technologies (including wiki) that enable an iterative design process with regard to reaching Trusted Agreements.
We aim to test Wiki Contracts in the following contexts: 1. Voz Reporting 1. Supply Chain Monitoring
