Federation Report

We are interested in researching the impact of giving systemic feedback to authors in the federation with regard to their writing activity.

We anticipate a number of benefits and issues with regard to such reporting: 1. Incentivising writing 1. Socialising writing 1. Facilitating Teamwork 1. Diminishing Privacy

# Reports

We look to develop visually compelling and informative reports that answer some of the following questions:

- What subjects are being written about? - Who is writing with who? - Which pages are being forked?

These reports are relevant to a given time period. We therefore expect to produce regular reports for the federation as a whole, or by providing tools that enable individuals or small groups to create reports for their own communities.

These reports can be broken up into: - Daily Reports - Weekly Reports - Pod Reports

# Navigation In addition to visualising such information, we expect these reports to be interactive allowing new forms of navigation and exploration of the writing in the federation. In particular we expect these reports to feature new forms of interactive maps.

# Mapping The mapping functionality of the federation remains rudimentary. This is not surprising as this capability is missing from all online platforms. We anticipate making a considerable effort in the coming months to address these shortcomings. Progress along these lines can. be monitored here: - Mapping the Federation
