Computational vs Augmented

I am uncomfortable with the use of the term computational with regard to the dynamics of wiki and prefer the use of __augmented__.

While wiki uses the power of the computer (computation) in many places - for instance in associating internal links with their target page - this is rarely done by the computer alone. Instead the computer simply suggests, guides or aids a human in taking in action that they could easily do manually. Here we see the proper applicability of the concept of augmentation over that of computation.

Of course the original computer was indeed human, most often an assemblage of humans arranged in inhuman ways.

The first known use of the word computer, meaning "one who calculates", was in 1613 in a book called "The Yong Mans Gleanings". The modern use of the term, to mean "programmable digital electronic computer" dates from Alan Turing's application of the term in his seminal 1937 paper. - wikimedia

Wiki espouses the concept of augmentation over literal computation. It is the potential symbiotic relationship between mana and machine which is being explored in wiki. The concepts tackled relate in important ways to an understanding of issues related to artificial intelligence, governance and algorithmic design.
